The short version

  • We collect what we need to answer your application, to run the agreement we sign with you, to pay you, and to sell and support the masterclasses. Nothing beyond that.
  • We never see or store payment card numbers. Stripe handles cards.
  • Instructors receive numbers about their sales, never personal data about students.
  • We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with other instructors.
  • You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@beautive.academy.

3. Who else sees your data

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with other instructors. We do use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

4. Data leaving the European Union

Our own records stay within the European Union. Some of the providers above may transfer data to countries outside it, in particular to the United States. Where that happens, it is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission. You can ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

Under the GDPR you may ask us to:

Write to info@beautive.academy and we will answer within one month. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we do not hand your data to somebody else.

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us, and you also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority:

Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky
Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, Slovak Republic

If you live in another EU country, you may also complain to the authority there.

7. Cookies

By default this site sets only what it needs to work: cookies that keep your session and remember your cookie choice. These do not need your consent.

Anything used for advertising or measurement is set only after you agree to it, and you can change your mind at any time. If you refuse, the site works exactly the same.

8. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone, and we do not profile you in a way that produces legal effects for you. Choosing which instructors to invite is a decision made by people.

9. Keeping it safe

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Signed agreements, bank details and accounting records are stored outside the public part of the website, and access to them is limited to the two directors and our accountant. If something ever goes wrong in a way that puts you at risk, we will tell you and the supervisory authority, as the law requires.

10. Changes to this page

If we change how we handle personal data, we publish the new version here with a new effective date. If the change matters to you, we will tell you by e-mail rather than leave you to find it.
